And we're still jolly good at spinning around our axis, having rain over here and taking some photos. A year without journal entry, I can't have that. So hence, this last-minute post. Just to let the aliens know that Maya's weren't predicting anything. Just some 21st century idiots. Happy seasons greetings! Enjoy the presents, or just enjoy every minute.

Some time has passed and my activity went through its usual dips and ups, without a journal being written. Last month my daughter was born and now I have a whole new world of photography opening up for me: baby photography! A first result is already visible in my gallery, although I'm still practicing. It's not easy to catch her with that smile, or twinkle in her eyes... on video on the other hand, the laughs and kirrs of joy get captured frequently. It's a new form of art for me, videography... I have lots to learn and so few time with the baby needing all our attention and care... And work somewhere in between also picking up again. So d

A new year, a good reason to reframe and refresh some of the photos and to remove others. New years resolutions don't tend to last long, but I'll try to reduce my existing collection, and to add new shots to replace the ones deemed not good enough. That, along with the usual "I'll work on my condition" and "I'll eat less chips" :). Anyway, even in times when words are not good enough to express ourself, photography remains a steady beacon leading the way for our emotions.
